im so excited to go to manila but i don't have the time.. :(

but we're really planning to go for a vacation.. hope we can push it through..

anyhoo, this is a very late post..

my work is eating up my time..

i love it when markee always make heads turn..

I think he'll be a heartthrob when he grows up..

whenever we go to the mall or somewhere..

they would always notice my baby..

i just love it when he catches their attention without doing anything..

happy thoughts..

last monday was markee's first day.. and it was raining so hard. thank god i'm always prepared.. i always bring with me my trusty umbrella.

glad to see markee on his first day, he was so excited.. and he was well behaved.

according to his new teacher "he always do what he is told" wow. that's a first. he only listens to me.. haha well atleast.. uhhh my baby is growing so fast.

when i come home from work, i always ask markee.. "what did you do at school?"

he starts to tell me stories.. telling me how his day went with his classmates and friends.. and new friends..

and what he learned that day. he never fails to surprise, amaze and make me smile.

i am so thankful and blessed to have a cute little boy like you my baby!

i hope you'll stay the same my little sunshine!

sometimes.. markee is a shy little boy. but i got surprised when i brought him to my office with me, he was mingling with my colleagues.. he keeps on asking questions. before, he didn't want to talk to anybody at work. i don't know what got in to him and he burst out.. out of his shell. some kids are hard to handle.. lucky me.. my son listens to me. i always make sure markee is polite to everyone. i always remind him everything. like his papa. :) tsk boys! its never too early to teach your kids good manners. :)

my brother once told me, never to bribe markee with something he wants so that he'll do whatever you say.. and never to spoil markee too much.. which is true.. i never spoiled markee. when he wants something he got to earn for it. i always tell him.. when you do good.. you'll get a reward. but i don't reward him with toys. i take him to a fast food he wants or let him play with the computer or let him play outside or we'll go and watch a movie or go the mall. simple things that make him happy. we only buy him toys during Christmas and his birthday, sometimes when we have extra money we buy him inexpensive toys. all of his toys are gifts.. sometimes from his uncle, aunts and grandmas. which i don't want to tolerate. i always tell them not buy toys for markee.. books and clothes will do..

due to the rainy and lazy weather we stayed at home and watched TV cooked and made snacks for everyone. :) played couch potato all day.

markee is really hard to handle now that he is 4 years old.

but being a mom at 24 is fun and hard at the same time.

i am a working mom.. i don't have my 24/7 time with markee.. but usually during my breaks and weekend

we always make sure we bond.

before i wasn't a mommy yet.

i always told myself "i will never spank my child, whatever happens"

but!!!

i didn't know disciplining a child is harder than i thought..

when markee does something i dont want.. there are times that he listens but most of the time he doesn't.

and i constantly remind him everything don't do this.. don't do that.. thank god he listens to me..

but my husband is having a hard time when it comes to letting markee listen to him

when markee and marklaw are together it's always play time. maybe that's why markee doesn't believes in his papa..

i'll share you a my disciplining skills. haha

when i and my siblings were a kid.. when never got spanked by our dad.

he discipline us by "facing wall and standing in a corner" for an hour or two until we realize that we were wrong.

and tada! that's how we punish markee but in a different way

since he's still young, i let him sit on an green ottoman..

that's the reason why when i start to talk and scold him. he immediately stops what he's doing..

he may be a hard headed boy, but one thing more

when you are in a public place..

don't scold/spank your child when there are people around..

you don't like your kid to feel embarrassed in front of his friends..

do it privately.. maybe he'll realize what he did was wrong..

i want to say, DONT GROW UP TOO FAST MY LOVE..

but as the days come and go.. everything happens for a reason.

its worth the pain my love just for you to be HAPPY.

Only for you. whatever you want baby love.

you probably know why i stopped blogging because of SOMEONE.

what happened in the past gave me the courage to blog again.

to show them no one can stop me.

keep laughing and lets see who will have the last laugh

somehow, the blogger in me didn't stopped there..

thanks to instagram.. i was inspired by those accounts that features kids that are fashionable.

and then i thought of markee joining my bandwagon. (but obviously he's taking over my blog.)

why not right? i am his mom. and i dress him up.

little girls aren't the only fashionable kids on the block. LITTLE DUDES TOO!

living in province that has only 1 teenie weenie mall and some small department stores is very HARD

i can't hardly think that i could find any good pieces for markee here in ilocos..

ilocos norte is a 12-hour drive to manila by land. and going to manila is really hard to happen. because i always work on sundays (yes im a overtime whore) and its a waste of money if i go to manila and shop. someone could do that for me.

lucky me those "shopping malls" have some good clothes.

BUT! finding a good loafers and boat shoes here gave me a rough time. i almost went to all the malls here and i only found a cheap but good quality and its OK.

look at my son's smile. he's happy. DONT TAKE THAT AWAY.

karma always bites.

and i know you know who you are.

stand where you're allowed to stand.

don't ever mess with my family again.

go and make you're own family.

not with what's already MINE

well enough said.

what happened to me there. emotional trauma. whatever.

but somehow, i still find the hardest way to manage his unruly hair.

(it is starting to become straight, but his baby bangs are still curly)

haircut before his recognition day .. planning to have his hair undercut!

last week, markee had a haircut.

we went to a baptismal party

whenever i take pictures of him

he looks like he's distracted by something.

so every time we do outfit shots. i let him move freely and let him smile even if his not looking at lens, as my dad always said, candid shots are always the best!

if he's looking at the camera, that was only a two second lucky shot.

obviously this elle boat shoes is his favorite shoes. well aside from his rubber shoes. you know kids like shoes that lights up. haha.. he loves that.. but whenever i let him choose shoes except the ninja turtle shoes. he choose this. haha.. i hope stocks wont run out because i would like to buy another pair because markee is growing so fast and his feet is getting bigger.

this little boy always looks up to the sky at night and pretends there's always a shooting star.

who said you can only dress up little girls? well, for me having a little boy is harder than i thought.. my son is really hyperactive and never gets tired. before i only let him wear a basic tshirt, pants or shorts then shoes..

its really hard for me to understand what boys wear.. finally found everything at instagram.

browsed hashtags and tada! it gave me an idea.. bought everything i want and need for markee.. haha..

we live in the province, so no big malls here.. thank god i bought some clothes from H&M last time we went in HK.. now i only have few pieces to buy for my little boy. cant wait for the other stuff i ordered online!

so starting from now. my blog will be all about my family and mommy duties. maybe a mommy blog!(but i am not giving up with my style diary! just includiong my son with my style diary ) its hard to be a stage mom and working mom at the same time! but who says i cant? im super mom!!
